Jana's Gymnastics competes at Quest for the Diamond

Jana's Gymnastics Teams began their season this weekend at Quest for the Diamond gymnastics competition in Michigan City, IN on Saturday and Sunday, November 23 & 24th. Jana's Bronze Team came home Team Champions with a total team score of 112.25. Jana's Platinum team earned their very first team placement and came home in 2nd place with a team score of 103.425. Silver team earned a 3rd place finish with a team score of 111.6 and Gold placed 6th with a team score of 106.05.


Individual Event champions include:

Kylee Waldrop - First Place on Vault, Beam, Floor and All-Around

Madelyn Maclain - First Place on Bars

Amyra Benchaar - First Place on Vault, Beam and All-Around

Izzy Rettinger - First Place on Beam

Lila Hanyzewski - First Place on Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor and All-Around

Jersey Hunter - First Place on Vault and All-Around


Lila Hanyzewski not only swept her age group but posted the highest All-Around score for all ALL age groups in her level with an All-Around score of 37.65.
