It All Began in 1997
- April 7, 1997
- We opened our doors at 2730 N. Michigan in 1800 sq. ft. Approximately 30 students.
- Well, Actually, it all began in June 1975 when my parents signed me up for my first gymnastics class. My love and passion for gymnastics never left me and I followed my dream to open this gym. I am so glad that I did. I love what I do and I am grateful for the support of my family because it allows me to continue to do what I love.
- September 7, 1997
- Jana left her full time position at PiRod, Inc. to devote all her time to the gym.
- January 1998
- Started our first competitive team - 7 team members
- October 13, 1998 at 7:44 PM
- Jana gave birth to her first son, Luke.
- January 1999
- Expanded the gym in the same location to 4000 sq. ft. Upgraded with $40,000 of equipment. Gym grew to 90 students.
- November 12, 2001 at 7:42 PM
- Jana gave birth to her 2nd son, Elijah.
- May 2002
- Lea Macey joined our gym with her Martial Arts School - The Forge School of Martial Arts.
- June 2002
- Added Competitive Tumbling Team to curriculum. 8 competitive tumblers.
- July 2002
- Added Level 3 to our competitive gymnastics team. Grew to 30 competitors.
- November 2002
- Moved to a new location. 1800 Jim Neu Drive, Suite 4. 4500 sq. ft. Higher Ceilings. Approximately 120 students.
- December 2002
- Began "Plymouth Cheer Extreme" competitive cheerleading squads. Approximately 150 students.
- January 2003
- hosted our first USAG Sanctioned Gymnastics Meet "Jack Frost Classic"
- August 2003
- Added $5,000 in equipment including a new vault table.
- October 2003
- Hosted our 2nd USAG Sanctioned Gymnastics Meet - "Dream Catcher Invitational"
- September 2004
- Hosted our 1st cheerleading competition at the Blueberry Festival.
- July & September 2005
- Hosted cheerleading competitions

- Jana gave birth to her 3rd son - Michael
- July 2007
- Prep-Optional teams were added
- January 2008
- Hosted first "Ice Princess" Gymnastics Meet
- Added $1,500 equipment including 3 sets of free standing practice bars and skill mats
- March 2008
- Moved to our new larger location with air conditioning
- Our Prep-Op Bronze team won the first Prep-Op State Meet ever held by USA Gymnastics
- Our Silver Prep Op team came in 3rd
- April 2008
- Jana's Gymnastics was recognized by USA Gymnastics for our pioneer work with the Prep-Optional program
- January 2009
- Hosted 2nd "Ice Princess" gymnastics meet
- March 2009
- Jana's Prep-Op Bronze Team won the State Championship for the 2nd year in a row
- Jana's Prep-Op Silver Team won 2nd place at the State Championship
- January 2010
- Hosted 3rd "Ice Princess" gymnastics meet
- March 2010
- Jana's Bronze Team won the State Championship for the 3rd year in a row!!!
- Jana's Gymnastics co-hosted their first State Meet with Lisa's Gymnastics from Hobart. Jana's hosted the USA Gymnastics Level 3 & 4 State Meet with great success. It is a great honor to receive the bid to host a State Meet
- June 2010
- Added $5,000 of equipment including a bungee air mat system and practice mats.
- Re-introduced cheerleading and renamed it...Jana's Cheer Stars.
- March 2011
- Jana's Bronze Team won State Runner up at the Indiana USA Gymnastics State Meet.
- June 2011
- $7,000 Renovation. Replaced our current floor with new Purple Mats and revitalized with new springs. We also installed a climbing rope to help strengthen our gymnasts.
